I photographed this homestory for the viennies company "all I need". They produce natural tea drinks and are also sponsores for a Sri Lankan Pre Scool in Werallana! For this documentation I accompaned Chammy, a 22 year old pre school teacher. She appeard reserved and shy when I first met her. After a few encounters I could recognize her strong personality and she has this great calm charisma. The tall skinny girl lives with her sister and parents in a very simple house in rather poor circumstances. She loves her work with the kids as an english teacher and I could see that the kids love her. One afternoon at her home carefully she shows me her paintings which reflect her calm and strenght. The thing that impressed me was how honest and selfless this girls is. Her greatest wish is to support her sister to accomplish her law studies.
